Within the framework of the TSE Platform (Link: http://www.tse-forum.de/tse_forum/ or NRC project, diagnostic specimens can be sent to the NRC for scientific research purposes upon prior arrangement.
The collection of specimens comprises CSF, blood (serum, plasma, buffy coats), and urine. However, also other samples from patients with either CJD or other forms of dementia as well as samples from controls can be sent to the NRC upon prior agreement.
